Can we add custom message on checkout page below discount box when discount code is applied in Shopify plus using shopify script.

Is this possible ?

Hi @Priyanka_, this is possible using the checkout UI extension, with the target of `

purchase.checkout.reductions.render-after`. (See https://shopify.dev/docs/api/checkout-ui-extensions/2024-07/extension-targets-overview#checkout-loca... )

I don't have much experience with the Shopify scripts though so I'm not sure if it's possible but looks like the Shopify scripts will be phased out next year according to https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/checkout-settings/script-editor/shopify-scripts

Thanks for your response. I’m looking to customize the default Shopify error message that appears when a customer applies a discount code at checkout . Currently, the default message is "Discount code isn't valid for the item in your cart" if the cart doesn’t meet the minimum requirements for the discount code. I want to modify this so that if product X is in the cart and the minimum requirements aren’t met, the error message would be "The code is not applicable for X product." I’ve set up an order-level discount. Are we able to create multiple error message options based on the code entered, or based on if a specific product is in cart? Do you know how I can achieve this using Shopify’s functionality? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
