Add email sign up trigger

Hi, I would like to ask if anyone knows how to solve this?

For email sign up on my website, I wish to add a pop-up or a trigger of "thanks for subscribing" when customers submit their email. Currently, when an email is submitted on my website, there's no other signal shows that email has been submitted and therefore it could be a little confusing if it has been submitted. How can i add a trigger to show "thanks for subscribing" like the image below or anything similar?
