Add photo Link to another collection inlinbe with product.

I am looking to add a photo that links to a complementary collection in line with the items in a collection. An example of this would be https://onyxcoffeelab.com/collections/coffee. Here they have a list of coffee and periodically there is a photo for Brewing equipment, and then further down for tea, etc. These all lead to other collections.

It is possible to achieve this but  I need you to explain exactly what you want. Do you want to have just 1 image link in a specific collection, or do you want multiple links?.

Let's say you have a collection page and you want the image links to appear inside that collection page. Is there a specific place you would like to see the links or just randomly placed inside the collection page? For example maybe after 5 products show one link?

I like the idea of them being interspersed with the products so it could be at random intervals to keep it feeling organic.

For example the example store has it after 5 products and then after a further 6 products. This stops it from being in the same position each time and allows it to feel more organic.
