Add "company" to customer page and search results page

Is it possible to add the "company" name field to the shopify customer page (and search results page) similar to the image below?

I have checked the shopify documentation  but I didn't find way to add new column on backend of customer page.. could you please elaborate and explain how we can achieve it.
