Add solid color background behind shopify product listing

Hi,

I've been searching everywhere to find how to add a solid color background behind my product listing while keeping my main background a specific color. I have an example of what I want to do here that I found online. If anyone could help

Do you want to add that black/dark background around the product listing?
Correct me if I'm wrong - but wouldn't that hide the navbar - and the logo up top, and everything below as well?

And is this only for the product page? This appears like it's some form of modal instead of a page - because of the backdrop look.

No it wouldn't hide anything, this is for a product listing

Using Shopify Theme Editor (No Code)

1. Go to Online Store > Themes > Customize.

2. Click on the product page or collection page section.

3. Look for the section settings (like “Product information” or “Product details”).

4. If available, look for background color settings and change it to the color you want. I can help set this up if you wouldn't mind
