All things Shopify and commerce
I would love some help troubleshooting. Our cart doesn't update when a customer clicks on "add to cart" from the homepage or collection page. It does update if you refresh the page and it does update if the item is added from the product detail page. The website is https://revolvenails.co/
I appreciate the help.
Thank you!
Hey @SXB317,
Thanks for reaching out and posting your question here in the Shopify Community!
To gather a bit of context, could you advise on the following:
In the meantime, I recommend previewing your store in a fresh Shopify theme. This can help us rule out if the issue is directly affecting the theme. When adding a free theme to your store, you do not need to publish it. Next to the newly downloaded theme, click Actions > Preview to see if the issue carries out on an unedited fresh theme.
A second option is to try rolling back your theme code to an older datestamp. This can be done directly within your Online Store > Themes > Actions > Edit Code next to your current theme. When rolling back your theme code, select an older datestamp and click Preview.
I also wanted to let you know you've done a great job of curating your storefront and clearly displaying your products. I noticed you have your Facebook and Instagram social icons showcased in the footer section of your store. Have you thought about adding your products to Pinterest? With the Pinterest app you can link your business account to Shopify to advertise your products. Check out our Pinterest app in the Shopify App Store for more information.
Let us know if the above steps have helped narrow down or solve the issue. Looking forward to hearing back.

Thank you for the help, here's more context
Edited to add, the issue is not present when using a fresh Shopify theme so it appears to be an issue with the current theme. Rolling to older timestamped codes have not solved the issue.
Thanks for providing further context @SXB317!
If a fresh theme is working as it should then we can point that the issue is stemming from the theme itself. You mentioned Shogun making some changes, have you tried disabling these pages temporarily? and are the collection pages and homepage built using Shogun? I have seen instances where custom page builder apps have interfered with the checkout and cart pages. If this makes no difference, we will need to take a closer look at your theme's code.
Let me know how you get on!
