Adding a two picture side by side in description

Hello.

Is there existing css in Shopify to do the following?

- I would like to add 2 pictures side by side in the product description (50% width for each image)

- I would like it to be responsive so it shows up as one below another when in mobile as it's sizing image and number will be too small to read.

I tried to achieve this by using a table but it's not working.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried adding custom liquid and CSS in the add section ?
