Adding discount to product (Without Compare Price)

I have created a store discount of 40%. I would like the discount to appear on the products. Ideally with text saying "40% OFF SALE"

I have found a few threads on a solution but nothing for empire theme.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We can do this using custom code, using the JS we can add 40% discount on the products.

It will took 4-5 Hours.

Have to contact with a developer.
