All things Shopify and commerce
Ads keep popping up everywhere on my store all of the the sudden. Not too sure what is causing it since I have not installed any new apps or coding.
Here is a link to my store: https://globeplants.com/
Please help if anyone know how to remove all of them since they are affecting my brand.
Thank you
Rio

Hi @RioGP3D ,
Thanks for reaching out!
I just checked your store domain, but I don’t see any ads showing up on my end. Are you still experiencing this issue?
If yes, I was hoping to verify a few details with you regarding the popups you're seeing on your site. Can you please confirm:
The most common cause for this would be if you previously tried running Google Adsense ads in your store. Perhaps there is a leftover code snippet even though you canceled all the campaigns in the Google account. The code embedded to your theme should look something like this:
<script async src="https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-1234567890123456" crossorigin="anonymous"></script>
Also, did you once have any apps on your site related to Google Ads, such as those listed here? If so, please contact those app developers directly for help removing their app's coding from your site. You can do this by following the steps here.
Let me know if any of this helps.
By the way, your store looks amazing! I don't know if you have anything planned for BFCM this year, but now is the time to make some preparations. BFCM is one of the biggest sales weekends of the year and sees the start of the holiday season as well. Every year my go-to is this BFCM Checklist. It allows me to make sure that I am making the best use of my time and resources and it really helps take the pressure off by starting early. It is well worth the read should you be interested!

Can you post a screenshot of your whole browser window identifying an add? No offense but I can not tell which is which on your store. 🙂

Don't spoil the fun 🙂
Hello guys.
I am having the same issue in my store. I uninstalled Simprosys Google Shopping Feed in August, and I checked my site on the 13th, and there were all kinds of Google Adsense ads. I had a developer hide it using CSS. He said it was an app, and they would have to remove each app one at a time to isolate what was doing it. Unfortunately, I just read your response to another Shopify store owner having the same issue. I just contacted the app developer to check for any remaining code.
Thanks,
Don
