All things Shopify and commerce
I was wondering if an app is possible to track each of the affiliates customers, or if there is some work around ?
Eg, lets say we get 200 different affiliates join to promote our business, they get their own unique user friendly discount codes and discount links, etc.
Is it possible as the merchant to track the customers the affiliates attract ? eg, how many, when they purchased, and their details of that customer ( name, address, phone number, what they purchased, when they purchased, how much they paid, etc ) ?
Reason I ask is because I would like to be able to offer a prize incentive.
Our goal planned idea is, eg, once the affiliate has brought in a certain number of customers, eg, lets say the 500th and the 2,000th, and the 5,000 customer, we would want to find out who that 500th, who the 2,000th, who the 5,000th customer is, and give them a prize, and if a different affiliate also brings in 500 or 2,000 or 5,000 sales customers, then that affiliates 500th / 2,000th / 5,000 customer will also get a prize.
Alternatively, if an affiliate brings in a certain $ value of sales in, whichever the customer was that brought in that certain $ value, that customer gets a prize, eg, lets say they bring in customers who are all buying $50 items ( just to be able to keep the maths easy to understand ) after that affiliate brings in 200 customers, that would be $10,000 in sales, if we say, we will give a prize to whoever brings in the $10,000 in sales, then that 200th customer would get the prize, but not the 201 customer as the 200th clicked over to the $10,000.
Is there a way to track and recognise which customer and able to identify them to notify and give them a prize ?
Also we would want to be able to identify which customer was the, eg, the 200th customer, or which one tipped it to $10,000 in order to give that customer a prize, we would need to be able to contact / notify them somehow, their name, their address, their phone number, their email address, what they purchased, when they purchased, how much they paid, etc.
Also would want to make sure both as the merchant and the affiliate can see what $$ is pending for 30 to 45 days pending on clearance, and to ensure customer does not refund or cancel the order, etc, to ensure completed satisfied customer, and after 30 or45 days, then they can get the $$ allocated to the affiliates bank account, BSB / ACC.
We have 2 issues about the menu problems.
1) is for the computer version of the website, and the 2) is for the mobile phone version of the website.
On the computer version of the website, at the top left when you click on "CATEGORIES" and select anything.
Then on the left where it is showing the categories, you can not see where you are / what category / sub category you are in.
All categories and sub categories all look the same, where it should look like something like what the image I show you looks like, it does not have to look exactly like as shown in image, but gives you a visual representation how it highlights and bolds and shows you which category / sub category you are in.
On the mobile phone version, that category and all its sub categories that I just mentioned above which is on the computer website version, that is 100% impossible to view or access on mobile version of the website. Does not exist.
Thereby making it impossible for any customer using mobile to view 90% of all the things we have on our store.
I was asking about if it could have on the "STICKY TOOLBAR MOBILE" or at the top, another icon where that "CATEGORIES" menu from the computer website version which is on top left of computer website version would also appear on the "STICKY TOOLBAR MOBILE" as another icon to select, so people could see all the other categories and sub categories, or have another 3 lines appear at top to be able to select for that menu.
Is there a work around or an app that would do all these things, even if it involves work arounds, and a couple different apps to do the job,
Im needing to see if it would do as mentioned above, both for the menu issue, and also for the affiliate and customer details etc.
