always same problem with duplicated headings and shopify wont fix it.

Im already tired of always having the same problem. When a new theme update comes, the h2 and h3 on the main page, collections, and products are duplicated. I could think that shopify developers dont know how to code...or dont care. Im done and tired of the need of modifing code,  im using "trade theme", but i have seen this in other themes. Please tell us if you are going to fix this or not so i can move to another CMS.

Hi @vmms24 

You can solve the issues by deleting codes in the below files. Make sure you duplicate the theme code before deleting the code in case you accidentally delete the wrong code.

Go to Online Store > Themes > click '...' > Edit code

1. Product page: 

• Open main-product.liquid file, under {%- when 'title' -%}, remove this code below and save file 
• 

2. Collection page

• Open card-product.liquid, find and remove code from line 111 to 125 and save file 

3. Collection list 

• Open card-collection.liquid file, find and remove code from line 86 to 106

I'm not actually sure if the duplicate H fix worked (I reverted before testing that , but it removed the text overlays from my Collection cards 😭

I guess my theme is not so simple as the OP's. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! 🙏

Well, I would like to, but it might be the case that because my theme is different (the text overlay on cards is a feature of my custom theme, I think) that the code fix is not the same for me.
