Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out to the community for some help with an issue I'm encountering on my Shopify store. Currently, mobile users are unable to swipe right on product mockup images for any of the products on the store. This is causing a frustrating user experience, as users expect to be able to browse product images through swiping gestures on mobile devices.

Additional Details:

  • Problem: Swiping right on product mockup images does not function for mobile users.
  • Affected Products: All products on the store are affected.
  • Theme: Shrine Theme (version 1.4.6)

Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

  • Don't really know what steps to take

Possible Causes (if any):

  • Noticed it yesterday.

I'm hoping someone in the community might have faced a similar issue with the Shrine theme or mobile swiping functionality in general. Any insights or suggestions on how to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help!

zenwaredesign.com please check on mobile. the issue is intermittent. like sometimes a user is able to swipe right on the first two photos of a product page correctly but then unable to again later on another page. I was able to verify this issue on three separate mobile devices.

Hey, @Zenwaredesign1.

Thank you for reaching out and bringing this to our attention.

It sounds like you're using a third-party theme, called Shrine, which may be the issue. In order for us to identify where the problem is coming from, can you try installing one of our free themes and check if this problem continues to persist?

If the problem doesn't appear in one of our free themes, then it's likely an issue with the theme and we'd recommend getting help for your theme from the theme developers. If the theme developers don't offer troubleshooting or customization support, then you can consider hiring a developer to assist you with the theme. Should you need help finding a developer for your store, then you can take a look at our directory of certified developers on Shopify Partners

That being said, if the problem is also persisting with our free theme, then it looks like we'll need to access your account in order to resolve the issue. While we're unable to provide account-specific support via the Shopify Community, we'd be happy to further assist you through live chats. Simply visit the Shopify Help Center and login to your account to create a support request.
