Any way (in the back end) to search my products within a collection?

We have 20,000+ collectibles imported from eBay. Most I imported separately and added directly to a collection.  I have a newer collection labeled "New Unsorted Items" that I bulk imported a variety of ebay items into.

I wish I could search within that collection to find the 100 or so autographs or 50 or so sports programs to move into those established collections. Once I filter by collection I can't add a specific term to narrow things down.

Any ideas are appreciated. My search in the app store just returns website search answers. I would like to do this in my products admin section.

I know I can do it little by little but would like to save some time.

Do you have something in unique in the product title or description that you can use to identify those products you want to group? For example, if only your autograph products are the ones with the word "autograph" in the title or description, then you could use an app like Hextom bulk product edit (https://apps.shopify.com/bulk-product-edit).

With it, you can search for products in your unsorted collection and the title/description contains the word "autograph", for example. And then once found you can give it a tag (ex: autographs). And then once all of those products have the new tag you can create your collection based on that tag.

Not affiliated with the app, I just find it useful for bulk actions like this.
