Are printed gift cards from the hardware store sturdy enough?

Hi, We are looking to order physical gift cards for in-store, has anyone printed the paper gift cards through the hardware store, were they sturdy enough? Helen

I have the same question.  People have been asking for years about the quality of the paper cards with no response from Shopify.
