How do I fix 'A and CNAME spelled incorrectly' error on my new domain?

Hi,

 

I’m fairly new to Shopify. I recently opened up an online clothing store and changed my store name as I wasn’t happy with the previous name. Since I changed store name I had to change the domain, but I can’t get it to work. I purchased a domain on ASIC Connect which is an Official Australian website that gives you the rights to your chosen business name and also provides you a domain with “.com.au”. I put the new domain into “Connect exisiting domain” and it keeps giving me this message saying “A and CNAME spelled incorrectly” which I’m not sure what that means as I’ve definitely spelt my domain correctly. I watched a video about how to connect your new domain from Shopify and all the solutions didn’t work, including how to manually add your domain to Shopify.
