Auto Add a Discount Code to a landing page

Hello,

I am providing my community a URL link to a specific page on my Shopify site (ie.myshopify/pages/specificpage), and I want to automatically add a discount code to this page as well.  

Basically, I want the customer to follow a URL link to this page and have the the discount code automatically appear at checkout when they make a purchase after landing on this page.  

I know it can be done with a discount link alone, but I need to combine the specific page with the discount code.

It has to be possible, but I can't figure it out.

Any suggestions?

You should be able to add a discount code by using a query parameter.
