Automate recurring customer inquiries with AI

Hi guys! I’ve been battling with the same customer inquiries over and over again for a bit now, and I’m sure some of you are going through the same thing. Do any of you also have the same problem? We have about 20 inquiries a day and most of them are always about the same topics (how long does shipping take? etc.).

We had this problem, but fortunately we've now found a great solution that has enabled us to get to grips with it:

• We have built a scenario in Make.com that is connected to Chat GPT. 
• Here, the requests are first automatically categorized and it is determined what they are about
• Then another Chat GPT module is attached to it, which answers the requests on the basis of an assistant with a corresponding knowledge database behind it as if we had written it ourselves. 
• They then automatically go into the draft folder, we now only go through them once a day, do a cross-check and then send the mails out directly
• Now we save 1-3 hours every day depending on the number

We did a revamp of customer support earlier this year and landed on Help Scout, which handles a lot of those repeat questions through a keyword searchable knowledge base, wrote about that here: https://orderautomator.com/help-desk-apps.

Also just started testing ZipChat this month. Pretty cool app It crawls your pages, learns, and responds to customers, like shipping questions. It sounds like it kind of does what you built, except it learns from the pages on your site or that you add.

Good stuff, pretty fun to see how AI is helping automate some repetitive tasks.
