I have five automatic discounts set up, and when customers add multiple items to their cart they are not getting the discounts on all the items. I made sure that all the items that are giving issues are in the correct collection connected to the discount, and the discount can combine with other product discounts and shipping discounts. If I add multiple items to my cart and drop some out, then sometimes the discounts will show up for other items that were not showing before.
I have also had customers check out with multiple items and all were discounted fine. This is so frustrating and I am probably losing sales if customers get confused. I had a customer just message with me and I just ended up creating a code for her to enter to get the discount on that particular item. That code worked for her with the same full cart that would not show the discount before.
Anybody have any troubleshooting ideas or have this happen to them too?
Hello, T_baker_78,
here are some additional steps you might consider to identify and resolve the issue:
1. Inventory and Variant Issues: Verify that all items in the cart are indeed part of the correct collection and have the correct variants. Sometimes, variant issues can lead to discounts not being applied.
2. Check for Theme Conflicts: If you've made customizations to your online store theme, there might be conflicts with the discount system. If possible temporarily switch to a default theme to see if the issue persists.
Also try the Bulk Price Editor by MITS, where you can easily add/change discounts for thousands of products with extensive filters and more in less than 1 minute and rollback to the end of sale days.
