All things Shopify and commerce
I understand from Dr. Google that the average checkout completion rate is about 50% for general e-commerce, not sure if this assumption is right.
we are getting about 10% of the people completing the checkout process when compared to the people starting the checkout process.
our checkout process is the standard Shopify checkout, we offer free shipping, which is well displayed, and our checkout looks almost exactly like the leaders in our product industry.
my question is, how do we identify what is happening, right now we’re shooting in the dark with no improvements
we do not have the Shopify pro account so cannot install tracking code on the checkout page, we use Microsoft clarity, we can track people getting to the checkout page, but that’s it.
any and all help would be greatly appreciated
Thank you for your suggestion, no we do not, but will add that right away.
