How to display CDN on frontend while maintaining USD on backend?

No sure if this the correct place to ask this question but here it is....

Essentially we are looking to lock in the USD on the backend, and have a floating Canadian dollar represented on the front end. Meaning if we purchase parts in USD, we can simply put that on our back-end (say $100usd for an intake), but on the front-end it is represented in CDN with respect to the exchange rate (maybe its $120 today, $130 tomorrow). We aren’t looking to have someone click a flag to show the currency they wish, we want all of our front end to be represented in CDN 24/7, but the flexibility to have our backend represented in both USD and CDN.

We were able to do this on our old custom site that was built for us before we switched to Shopify. hopefully i explained it all properly and someone can help.

Hi @vr6turboguru,

The currency that your customers use to pay for their orders can be different from the currency of your payouts from Shopify Payments. That is, your store currency can be different from the currency of your bank account.

In terms of the backend being in multiple currencies, a store can only have one currency for payouts at a time, but suppose that your store is located in Europe, but the majority of your customers are in the United States. If you sell to a lot of Americans, then set your store currency to United States dollars (USD). If you need to pay your suppliers and employees in Euros, then set your payout currency to Euros (EUR). Alternatively, you can open a separate bank account that accepts USD currency, but then you have to manage both accounts and move your funds between them.
