I use https://apps.shopify.com/multiple-google-shopping-feeds

The main reason is that it's simple to setup for non techy people, and it has a super advanced rule based solution for those that what more customization.

I work on Google Shopping accounts every day, and I need highly custom data to improve ranking, and adding specific data which is always different for every merchant. This app has never failed me. And the support team is amazing.

Exactly why does one need this Google feed app? Google Merchant generates feed automaticly.

For example: are you aware that the automatically created feed, generates random product IDs, how are you going to match the ID with the remarketing tag? When using the data feed app suggested, you can specify the default (non generic) ID, or using the SKU value as your ID. Which then can be matched up.
