Breadcrumbs

Hi,

I would like to show breadcrumbs just like on Bahne.dk. Right off the bat, they seem to link to collections based on the collection name (see attached file). Any hardcore codes that could have a solution to this?

Cheers // Peter

Forside (Link to: Home page) > Bolig (Link to: '/collection/bolig') > Borddækning (Link to: '/collection/bolig_borddaekning') > Bar & vin (Link to: '/collection/bolig_borddaekning_bar-vin')

Hey, @BayOfDenmark

I'm not formally trained in code to provide you with an exact solution to offer collection-based breadcrumbs However, I'm confident one of our Shopify experts would be able to accomplish this at a reasonable price.

Just wanted to share that as a potential alternative if you are unable to find a coding solution in this thread.

If there is anything else I can help you with, please let me know.

Hi @BayOfDenmark ,

Sorry for the late reply. But this exact thing seems to be possible via this app.

Took me a while to figure out, but it's exactly what you're describing. And I don't see any other way of doing it.

Have attached a screenshot, maybe give it a try - it has a free trial.

Here are the steps:

  • Once installed, go back to your theme editor.
  • From the top dropdown - select the "Blog posts" page.
  • And place the Breadcrumb app block from the left sidebar where you want to position it.
  • Now, it won't show the product & collection link just yet.
  • Save changes, go back to your admin panel, and Click on Online Store > Blog posts > Click on the blog post you want to tag.
  • And now in the right section, you will see the "Tags" input container. Simply paste the product handle of the product that you want to attach to this article like this:

Please let me know if something was unclear.

Hope this helped. If it did, please like the answer and Mark it as accepted.

Cheers!
