Bulk Upload of Images and Videos

I am redesigning my shopify store and have 800 products with 7 images and a video for each product.
My images are all named by sku#_01, _02, etc.

I am trying to figure out the best way to upload all of the images and videos. They are currently in DropBox.

Can it be done easily in Shopify?
Do I need an app? And if so, can you recommend the best app for this?

Hi - I have used an app called "bulky - product media upload" to do this in the past.  Unfortunately, it appears that the developer no longer supports it.  We still have it and it works, but are looking for something new.  Did you find another app that worked for you?  We are in the process of uploading another few hundred products/videos.

We have quite a few Shopify sellers using BucketLynx to host their product image files.  It's web-based, so no apps are required to be downloaded or installed.

Hi - this looks OK for photos, but we also need videos for each product.  How does that help?

BucketLynx only handles photos.  Video hosting is something we've been considering, but hosting video adds a higher bandwidth and space requirement to the product.

UPDATE: We now supports uploading of mp4 and mov files.

I believe I used an app called photo finish. It did not do videos, only images and worked fairly well. I paid for a subscription and recently canceled it because I did not use it after the initial upload.

Hi. We had a solution, but that has been discontinued. We need a tool like this from time to time. The old was worked, but could only do 200 items at a time.

So how would the ideal world look like for you?

1. How would you upload them? From a UI where you select all images from your folder
2. Automatically tagging, describing and creating alt texts for all images (for instance as you can do with this: https://apps.shopify.com/ai-from-image-to-description-1) but now directly on upload?
3. Do you need control of what you name things or is AI good enough for all your images so that you?
4. How do you relate your images to your products? Something that could do that or will it be a manual effort?
