All things Shopify and commerce
Trying to figure out how to program a discount where the following occurs:
A customer adds product x (a meat item)
Then gets 10% off any other products (y) they add to their basket.
So a cart with:
Turkey - $35
Pie - $10
Gravy - $10
Should reduce down to
Turkey - $35
Pie - $9
Gravy $9
It doesn't seem like this is possible without third party support, hoping I am wrong?

Hi Ben,
If you're looking for a way to apply discounts to every item in the cart except one specific product, while only triggering the discount when that product is in the cart, our app, Regios Automatic Discounts (4.9 stars, 61 reviews, Built for Shopify), can handle that with ease.
Here's a screenshot showing how to set up the discount:
In this example, the product is named "VIP Membership," but you can easily swap that for your "Turkey" product. Just combine the "Check if specific products are in the cart" condition with an "Include/exclude products" condition to apply the discount to everything else in the cart.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out—I'd be happy to assist.
Best,
Tobe
