All things Shopify and commerce
Hello, I'm 14 years old and I have a question, is it ok if I sign in into shopify with a google account that I created with my age (14 years old) but having one of my parents permission and supervision? I would like to create an shopify store with the google account that I created.
Hey, @GadielT25!
Thank you for sharing your questions with us.
Yes, you can sign in using your Google account.
Since you are under the age of 18, it is important to have assistance from a parent or legal guardian when setting up a Shopify store. The primary account owner, contact information, and bank account details for payouts should be in your guardian's name. However, you can have a staff account in your own name, as explained in more detail here. Once you reach the age of 18, your guardian will have the option to transfer ownership of the store to you.
I would recommend involving your guardians in the setup process. Please ensure that you follow the necessary guidelines and have the appropriate support from your parent or legal guardian to ensure a smooth experience while using Shopify!
I'd love to hear more about your business plan and what products you might be selling on your store?

Hello, my name is Charles, I'm 15 years old and I'm Brazilian. I'd like to ask you a few questions.
About this part:
"By taking advantage of Staff Accounts on the Shopify store, what you can do is appoint someone (over the age of 18) who you trust, such as a parent or guardian to be the registered Account Owner of the store. This means that they would be the ones who submit documents for verification and would be the main point of contact for Shopify Payments etc.
However, you can be added to the store as a staff member, and basically have full access to everything you need to run the day to day business. You could be in charge of things like fulfilling orders, designing the look & feel of the website, creating blog posts, and adding print on demand products etc. Once you reach the age of 18 years old, you can then have the Account Owner transfer the store ownership to you, and you can set up Shopify Payments with your own details. "
Can you also apply in Brazil, only for dropshipping? If not, is there any other way?
If you know, ask me these questions.

Which countries are like this? That someone of legal age has to be appointed as the store owner, and the minor can be added to manage the store?
