can a search bar be added to the filter sidebar in Dawn?

There are a lot of options underneath a heading on the filter sidebar, I'd like to add a search bar to that particular filter, like in the example below from a different site. If anyone can offer a solution that would be great.

This feature is not available on the current free themes. You will have you custom code everythis yourself to add this feature to your theme.

I researched but could not find a quick solution to your problem.

The custom work required for this requirement is not straightforward. So it might take time for you to find a solution.

However, I will keep this on my wishlist. If I get a solutiuon to this problem, I will let you know.

do you know of any paid themes which have this feature?

I have never seen such feature in any shopify stores I have worked in.
