Can a university card be used as proof of address for online store payments?

Hey,

So i started a Shopify store with my friend from uk and he takes care of all the bank related stuff and so when we added Shopify payments as an option we got a message to verify the Identity and show proof of address, He can provide the proof of identity as Passport/Identity card of uk but when it comes to proof of address It asks for Driving license/Utility Bill, He does not have a Driving License nor does he receive the bills in his name he just pays the money for the bills to the owner of the place, But he can provide his University Card(university of Hertfordshire) and will that be enough proof of his address. please do lets us know as this is the last step to launch our store!

That is a great question. Other proofs of address could be the following: 

• A lease agreement.
• A bank/credit card statement. 
• Mobile phone bill. 
• Tax registration cert. 
• A government letter.

1) I live in Turkey and I have a company in the UK. I want to use Shopify payments, but proof of address is required. is there a solution to this? Can an invoice be sent to the company address?

2) Can I use "Stripe" if there is no solution?

Hey there, @Dragnes 

In order to use Shopify Payments, you do need to be located and operating your business from one of our supported countries such as the UK. Stripe is currently unavailable in Turkey. You can see what gateways are available in Turkey right here.

Hello im living in spain and have a UK ltd company , i know stripe is supported in spain but they Ask me for proof of adress but i live in spain IS there any solution ?

I am From Pakistan. I have verified registered company in UK. I have Physical address in UK. So I started Shopify Store From Pakistan. I Put all UK information in Shopify store. Now I add UK Bank account in Payments Section. Now they ask verify Your Bank account with UK utility bill or with Bank Statement. My bank account is Business account. Bank account registered name is Company Name. Not in My name. They register bank with My Company Name. I don't have UK utility bill. And How can I Submit Bank statement because My bank account name is MBA Corporate Ltd. But Shopify ask submit Bank Statement is with Your name and Address. I don't have name in My bank statement. Now Kindly Help Me. How Can I verify My Bank account?
