Can anyone help with this Facebook Catalog Manager error: Pixel Missing Parameter in DPA Events

I can't seem to find much info on this error or how to resolve it in FB'a documentation or by searching Google.

 

"Pixel Missing Parameter in DPA Events"

 

In the Issues tab of catalog manager I'm seeing this error for two of my products.

Has anyone encountered this issue before? Or can anyone point me to any documentation that can help get this resolved?

Any point in the right direction at all would be appreciated 🙂

I have the same problem still unsolved and found this https://developers.facebook.com/support/bugs/194896232355270/ on the facebook developer platform. You all may try to get in touch with the developer directly, I am trying but I have seen no answer so far. Maybe the more we are the easier will be to get this resolved

We have seen the same errors on one of the Catalogues we look after, but only for /checkout/ pages. 

These are pages where, other than the base pixel that fires on all pages, events are not normally sent. 

So perhaps Shopify is sending some FB events in error, on these pages there will not be one of the events needed for DPA. 
This would suggest that the issue lies with the InitiateCheckout and AddPaymentInfo events. These are not strictly necessary for Dynamic Product Ads, it is the ViewContent (on product pages, with Content IDs), the Add to Cart and Purchase that DPA needs to work. 

If these errors were coming through for /checkout/.*/thank-you, product pages or on the add to cart event. I would be more concerned for our catalog...  as we do my current hypothesis is that there are some occasions when Shopify is sending some of the events between add to cart and the final purchase (it can't be happening everytime as manual tests with the pixel helper never see these issues). 

It will be interesting to hear if others also see the problem only on checkout pages?

same issue - not sure if it has any effect - meta support said it does not affect my ad account, but who knows...?
