Can I change my Refund Policy page title to Return Policy?

I just want to know if there's a way to change the title of my Refund Policy page to Return Policy. Thank you for any help!

You cannot change these, if you are using Shopify's default legal pages, but you can create your own custom pages under Online Store > Pages and link them in your menu/footer.

What theme are you using?

Update: this is how I did it...

Navigate to Edit default theme content>Checkout & System tab>type in "refund" in the filter>then change the wording underneath Refund Policy and save.

+1 for this issue. I understand creating custom pages for these policies, but they still automatically appear on product pages + the checkout flow. How do we address those scenarios?

I found you can actually change the headings in the store language settings. Go to settings > store languages > change theme language, keep the language as English in the modal and click save > checkout & system tab. Ctrl+F there, type in refund, the first field should be Refund Policy. Change that to Returns Policy or whatever you like. Click Save. This changes the heading on the policy page as well as the link in the checkout. Only the URL still says refund-policy, but the rest changes.

What themes does that work for? I am also trying to rename the refund policy on the Venture theme and was unable to locate the policy by scrolling nor by searching as you have described.

Working too :

Go To Settings => checkout => all the way down "Manage checkout language"

Then filter items : "refund"

-Replace "Refund Policy" in Checkout Shop Policies by "Return policy"

-Replace "Refund Policy" in Shop Policies by "Return policy" (all the way down)

this thread is two years old but still hopeful. the steps you mentioned above are not consistent to what I'm able to control. Cannot advance past seeing language as English...cannot save.

I'm not quite sure that we are talking about the same title change, but I have found a solution, that might help others looking for the same title change as I did. So I wanted to change the title names in my footer to our local language.

The solution was the following in my case:

Sales Channels -> Navigation -> Footer menu -> Edit the needed policy title

The result is:
