All things Shopify and commerce
Hi
I work at a Brick and Mortar store that does photofinishing. Is there a way to add items to an unpaid order ? Allow me to explain: A customer sends in an online order for 50 prints tonight. We print her photos and ring her order as an Unpaid Order so we don't have to enter all her information while she is at the register. Tomorrow morning she orders another 25 prints, before coming to the store to pick up and pay for everything. Is there a way to combine both orders on one transaction ?
hey, could you not add the original order as a draft, then update it when the second half the next day and then mark as paid when paid for?
Hello
How do I add the order as a draft ? I don't see it as an option ( we only have Order Printer, Quickbooks Desktop Connector, and Stocky installed ).
Hey! Just go to orders then drafts 🙂
Hi @PTJ,
I believe ConnectPOS can solve your problem. In the checkout process on POS, you can choose Partial payment or Unpaid Order for your customer to pay later. They are available on Shopify marketplace so you can get a free trial or book a demo there!
Hi PTJ;
We've developed the Shopify app "Mergify" as a merger of orders, so the problem of merging orders can be solved easily. With Mergify, you can effortlessly combine multiple orders into a single order, all without the need to restock any items; it can even combine two unpaid orders into one.
Your inventory remains unchanged! By creating a combined order that includes all the necessary items for fulfillment, you can conveniently ship all the orders together to the customer at just once.
One of the remarkable features of Mergify is its ability to automatically identify orders with the same customer and shipping address, seamlessly merging them without any manual intervention. This automated process ensures that you can optimize your shipping operations and minimize costs. A growing number of stores are already benefiting from Mergify, enjoying significant savings on shipping costs.
We invite you to experience the convenience and cost-effectiveness of Mergify for yourself. If you have questions, our team is readily available to assist you.
