Can I get a refund for an inactive account charged over $1,000?

I was charged $1,011.99 for an inactive account (yearly fee). I haven't used account in over a year and it was "inactive" when I tried to log in. Does anyone know if Shopify ever gives refunds in such circumstances?

for inactive account they charged? thats's scary!

almost same thing happened to me we should move to Quora and reddit before they start deleting are posts i didnt even open my online shop started as advanced and changed to basic and they billed me two times more then 400$ as advanced even though i changed and it was a error on there behalf and then they wouldn't take any responsibility for it just makes you not want to work with a company that wants to drink and scam there own clients

it talked with them and they gave me 70$ credits for more then 880$ that  they took from my account great thing i can see it right now before i am too much invested in shopify they will loose allot more money for this kind of treatment to there customers
