Can I get a refund for an unused subscription?

Hello. I was charged $400 for the subscription, I was not informed about the charge to my account, and I have not used Shopify for 3 months. It was also my oversight mistake. Is it possible to get a refund for a subscription?

This is something we can definitely look into, yes. If you've received a subscription charge then you likely still have an active store with us. Please contact our support team as soon as possible where you can connect with an advisor and they can authenticate you on your account. They can then look into this and whether or not a refund is possible.

I was charged 25$ today,I cancelled it right away but I didn't saw a refund button please look on to it 25$ is a bug amount in my country 7000/Rs

If you cancelled your subscription on the same day you were billed you can contact our support team to ask about a refund. They can authenticate you on the store and take a closer look at this for you.

When you arrive at the Help Center, you will need to make the virtual assistant aware that you would like to Speak with support and you will be connected with a Support Advisor accordingly.

I have the same problem. My account was charged $92 and I have never used Shopify. Is it possible to get a refund for the subscription? I am BEGGING for help or where can I find help in Polish?

  1. Head over to the Help Center.
  2. Enter the details of your question into the chat assistant.
  3. Wait for the chat assistant's response and click I still need help.
  4. Follow the prompts to be connected with a Support Advisor.

Dzień dobry,

I have written via chat many times and am not getting proper help in recovering my subscription costs. I didn't use this store at all and I didn't know that the trial period was ending, so I was charged $92, which is a very high cost for me. Please help!

I was having the same issue the chat support doesn’t work it tells me to reload and I was charged for 42.47 which I don’t use the Shopify account anymore and I would like my money back. Help me too!

I understand you're having trouble on your end accessing support, as well as you have received a charge to your account. 

 

To gain a better understanding, could you share a screenshot of the error message you're receiving when accessing the Shopify Help Center? With the Shopify account you mentioned, were you able to follow the steps listed in our Help Center resource to cancel your subscription and deactivate your store? You may have also received an email of the bill breakdown. If you could check your inbox, spam, or junk folder for this.
