Can I install Shopify on a subdomain, main domain has wordpress!

I have been blogging for a long time. Google ads were my primary source of income. However, after the Google Updates in September 2023 and March 2024, my website got downgraded in the SERPS, and I am now looking to generate revenue from an e-commerce store.

My website's authority is due to the blogs and backlinks, which I am looking to leverage by selling products in a separate store.

Can I install Shopify on a subdomain of my website?

For example, Dawud Academy will remain the top-level domain, and 'store.dawudacademy' will be the e-commerce store.

Yes. You'd need to properly configure your DNS settings though https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/domains/add-a-domain/connecting-domains
