Can I use my personal car for delivery in my recipe-based business?

If I'm setting up a business on Shopify where customers can send me recipes and pay me based on how the dish looks and tastes,can I use my own car to drive to drive to their location when a customer makes a delivery order?

Hi there @cbrown218,

Thank you for your question. You could absolutely deliver your products by car within your region if you wished, and you're not under any obligation to ship the product using a courier if you'd prefer to deliver it yourself. Shopify offers the local delivery feature which allows you to manage where you want to offer this service. You can also offer a pick-up option if you wish and giving customers the choice of their delivery method when they check out.

hello Victor, I have the same question. I will deliver the orders in my shop myself, and I saw the local delivery in the shop, but HOW do I set it up? I want to customise it to make it active in all of Egypt.? I want it to be the only delivery option.

With that being said, you can begin to set up your local delivery on your store by navigating to Settings > Shipping and Delivery. You should see the section titled Local Delivery to allow you to select your location to offer this service. I took a screenshot from my test store to show you the section I am referring to:
