Is it possible to send multiple abandoned cart emails in Shopify without adding another app?

Abandoned cart emails are sent to customers, who added the items to the cart, but still need to complete the purchase. The purpose of these emails is to remind the customers about their abandoned cart to complete their purchase, and the customers can be provided with some discounts or offers to encourage them to complete purchases.
Yes, you can send multiple cart abandonment emails to the customers, but you have to manually send the emails in such cases. The steps to send these emails are as follows:
You can also customize and review these emails at your convenience.
Under ‘Recovery Status’ on the ‘Abandoned Checkout’ page, you can check the recovered carts, if the customers complete the purchase.

The auto email had been initiated
and there is no other place we can click to manually send another email

Yes, you can use the built-in marketing automations capabilities to do this.
Under the Marketing/Automations area of the Admin, you will find a library of marketing automations (click on View Templates). There are templates for sending emails when a customer visits the online store, but leaves after browsing products, adding items to cart, or proceeding to checkout without making a purchase.
These templates include a single email, but can be modified to include conditional logic to send subsequent emails.
