I have been having trouble finding someone at Shopify to contact; essentially what happened was I started a free trial with Shopify. I ended the free trial after my project was completed although I just got an email saying it has billed me. Is there any way I can get a refund/ close the account? I am struggling with money right now so this is a really important issue for me.

The first thing I will say is that your store would need to be closed before our financial services team could investigate anything else. To close your store you can take the following steps:
Log in to your store as the store owner.
From your Shopify admin, click Settings, and then click Plan and permissions.
In the Store status section, click Sell or close store.
Click Close store.
Enter your password to continue.
At this point, you can contact Shopify for further assistance. If you're sure that you want to close your store, then select a reason from the drop-down menu and then click Close store. To confirm that your store is closed, you can go to your store's URL to check if your online store loads.
Once you have closed your store, you would need to contact the support team for any other queries you may have about your billing or plan as we can't assist with account specific requests in the community for security and authentication reasons. To contact the support team, you can take the following steps:
When you visit our support team here and log in, put literally anything into the search bar and click "Search".
After that, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Contact general support".
Once you click there, it will take you to another page where you can select the support channel you'd like to contact us on:
