Can't connect Facebook

Anyone had this issue? I tried a couple times to connect my business facebook page to my store and it gives me the error (see picture)Screenshot 2025-01-10 201946.png

1. Verify Facebook Business Manager Setup:

  • Create a Business Manager Account: If you haven't already, create a Facebook Business Manager account. This is a central hub for managing your business assets, including your Facebook Page.
  • Add Your Page to Business Manager: Ensure your Facebook Page is added to your Business Manager account and that you have admin privileges for both the Page and the Business Manager account.

2. Check Account Roles and Permissions:

  • Admin Role: Confirm that you have the "Admin" role for both your Facebook Page and the Business Manager account. This is crucial for granting the necessary permissions to Shopify.
  • Other Roles: If you're not the primary admin, ensure the person who is has granted you the necessary permissions within Business Manager.

3. Re-authenticate Shopify Apps:

  • Go to Shopify Admin: Navigate to Sales Channels > Facebook and Instagram.
  • Reconnect: Click the "Reconnect" button for both apps. This will re-authenticate the connection between Shopify and your Facebook accounts.

4. Clear Browser Cache and Cookies:

  • Clear Cache and Cookies: Sometimes, cached data can interfere with the connection process. Clear your browser's cache and cookies, then try connecting again.

5. Try a Different Browser:

  • Use a Different Browser: Attempt the connection using a different web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari). This can help rule out browser-specific issues.

6. Contact Shopify Support:

  • If the Problem Persists: If you've tried the above steps and are still unable to connect, contact Shopify Support for assistance. They can investigate the issue further and provide more specific guidance.

Hello there @CHAPOHstore  It’s actually a common issue but here are three quick things you can try to fix it 

1) Check Facebook Business Manager Setup

2) Verify Business Page Role

3) Re-authenticate Shopify Apps
