Can't find email forwarding option in domains, is it no longer available?

Hi All,

Is this feature not available anymore? First step is go to domains, second step click on domain <-- This is the step that doesn't work. There is no option to click my domain.

Thanks for reaching out.

If you buy a domain through Shopify, or transferred your domain to Shopify, then you should have the option to set up email forwarding. If you are not seeing a way to Manage the domain, it may be possible that the verification for the domain has not been completed. I would suggest checking your email spam and junk folders to see if you have received an email with instructions to verify the domain.

Could you let us know if the domain was purchased directly from Shopify, or when it was transferred to your Shopify store? As this will determine the next steps to take for troubleshooting.

Thanks for reaching back yes I have the domain through namecheap. I setup all the DNS stuff already and its verified.

Hey Ollie

Unfortunately, the "forwarding emails" section does not appear on the domains page.

I purchased a domain name through Shopify and the domain verification process does not appear to be completed. Whether I received an email with instructions to verify the domain. I checked my e-mail address, but unfortunately there is no such e-mail.

What should I do since I purchased the domain name directly from Shopify? I'd be happy if you help.

I'm not sure why the email forwarding option isn't appearing. It appears we’ll need to access your account in order to investigate this issue further. i have the same exact issue. the screen shot shared above is exactly how my store looks like.

do you think i need to add some Dns MX settings in name cheap to allow the email forwarding?

Hi I'm facing the same issue, any idea why or did shopify solve it for you? 

It was showing before then suddenly it stopped showing when I connected to an external smtp provider
