Can't manually mark order as fufilled

Previously there was a button that allowed me to mark an order as fulfilled and manually enter the tracking

 

Now it has been replaced by a "Request Fulfillment button"

 

I also used to be able to use this app called Fufillsync and it doesn't seem to be working either

 

Is there any workaround? Seems to be a change on Shopify end

Your orders are assigned to a fulfillment service, probably due to an app installed.

Check the order comments it will show you which app is the Fulfillment Service.

How does that help me get the "marked as fulfilled" button back?

Also gone on my end. This is really stupid. Why would you remove the ability to 'Mark fulfilled' ??

 

It's a not uncommon experience to either:
1) Manually fulfill
2) Have an error with the fulfillment app
3) Anything else

Which then results in me needing to mark it as fulfilled because it shipped already. It was soooo easy before - I just add the tracking, and I'm done.

 

Now, my only option is to mark the product as being fulfilled my own location, which then marks the inventory as "-1", which then makes it so later on - if I actually do have only 1 unit left in my fulfillment center, it'll actually show as sold out.

if it helps, we solved the problem months ago by getting a 3rd party app to upload the tracking and mark the orders as fulfilled

 

it's dumb that we had to do this workaround but at least we got what we needed

Thanks; but that's really overkill for something like this. If a product is shipped, I should have the option to mark it as shipped
