Can't restore theme to archived theme

Hi, I configured the spotlight theme and got my store set up then the trial ran out. It reset the store, but I can see that there's an intact version of the store archived. I bought the Starter plan, but I still can't go back to the archived theme. I have a message that tells me I need to upgrade my plan to restore the website, but there's no information about this on the plan page. I would like to go back so I don't have to do all the work setting it up again.

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community Forums.

The Spotlight theme comes with a simplified online theme editor, which is different to the theme editor on our Basic, Shopify or Advanced Plans. Essentially, the archived theme won't work on the Starter plan. Once you upgrade the simplified theme editor will expand to the full theme editor, including all functionality.

While on the Starter plan your access will be limited, i.e., you can only see themes you have customized but cannot edit or publish (essentially in an “archived” state).

Had the same issue this morning, While I understand what has happened I feel that this could/should be made much clearer up front.
We have spent time customising our theme and setting up the store ready to pay for the plan and start using the site but now we are in a situation where we need to re-implement a load of changes and it looks like the spotlight theme doesn't have some of the functionality that we had previously like a home page banner or a way to customise the home page to show collections etc.

Is that correct? Can the spotlight theme not show collections and will just always show individual products?
