Can’t verify account-long wait

I have been waiting over a week and a half for Shopify to verify my business information. It tried to auto verify with the IRS and that didn’t work so now I’m waiting on Shopify to verify. I check on it every couple of days and I’m just told I need to wait a few more days each time. I’m really growing tired of this and need to get verified so I can operate my store. They refuse to send me to a supervisor or give me any sort of information as to what’s going on, just tell me to keep waiting. How can I get through to a supervisor who can get this resolved quickly? I’m really wondering if I made a mistake choosing this platform over another.

Based on experience, issues like this will take time to be resolved. They are the only one who has a better view of your account so, the best course of action is to follow up on your case from time to time. It is better to follow up via live chat instead of ticket or email to avoid making it further on the queue.
