Can we apply automatic discounts for different customer groups on Shopify?

Hi Team,

Is it possible to apply an automatic discount based on the customer group in Shopify?

We are having different customers from various companies for which we will be providing different discount percentages for specific product categories. Also, we wanted to show the discounted and actual pricing(stricked out) in the storefront on the product detail page, listing page, cart, and checkout.

Is it possible to achieve this without using any of the extensions?

You can create customer segment in Shopify admin.

Create discount coupon for created segment.

You can also create product discount for same segment to show discounted price.

Coupon will only work for those customer lies in that segment.

But we don't need coupon codes. Automatic pricing should be applied for those customer segments. And it should be applied as a product level discount, not for the cart level.
Is this is possible?

Shopify also allow discount at product level.

So this will definitely work.

Our requirement is as follows.
Set up a customer segment named "20%" which will have limited access to certain product categories. These customers will only be able to order products falling within those categories. When viewing product pages, customers belonging to the "20%" group should see the discounted price specifically offered to them.

We have checked customer segment pricing, and price listing functionalities in the Shopify admin. But these functionalities are not satisfied our requirements.

Please let me know if this can be achieved without using any apps.
