Can we create more than 250 meta field definitions per resource type?

Hi,

The below document says that we can create upto 250 metafield definitions per resource type.

Is there any way I can create more than 250 metafield definitions for a particular resource type? Say like based on different account subscription can I increase this metafield definition count?

I think that the 250 metafield definitions limit is not per resource type. It looks like that you can define maximum 250 metafield definitions on your store
