All things Shopify and commerce
We currently run 2 Shopify stores, a party supplies business and a gifts and home decor one. We operate out of the same retail shop. Currently POS is only set up for one Store. Which means when someone buys something from the other store we have to manually update stock levels. We don’t really want to merge the sites but only stock. Is this possible? Also open to other ideas. Thanks!
Hi @penney ,
Is there a reason why a 2nd POS can't be purchased for the 2nd shop?
Hello @penney,
A solution of having 2nd store products skus/inventories to be synced into the 1st store using an app like https://apps.shopify.com/stock-sync but keeping them all disabled/hidden on the 1st store can work here. So they don't appear on store 1 frontend, but you are still able to sell them using the POS and then it will sync the inventory back to the 2nd store automatically.
Need help setting up this?
Best regards,
Anastasia
