All things Shopify and commerce
Hi there,
I'm a small canadian e-commerce website with no locations in the USA but I ship the majority of my products out to the USA from Canada. I want to start charging taxes on my products as I am taking a loss since I had to already pay taxes on these wholesale orders.
How can I set up the USA taxes if I don't have a location in the US. Is there any legal requirements for this? Also, what state would I choose since i do not have a location. This is where I am most stuck. I don't want to upgrade to the more expensive version of shopify as I'm still a small business.
I appreciate any help.
Thanks.
Christina
