I canceled my subscription to Shopify and was still charged for next year. can you please refund my money as I am not going to be using Shopify for another year.

Thanks for reaching out, and I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your account. I recommend following the steps in this help document to ensure you've properly closed your account. Once you've done that, or if you're having any trouble with closing the account yourself, you can contact our team through the Help Center to request a refund. Shopify typically does not offer refunds, but our team will determine if an exception can be made in this case. Simply enter the details of your issue into the chat assistant and then select "I still need help" to be connected with a Support Advisor.

hello i am currently experiencing the same issue... if someone could help me with this issue it would be much appreciated. i was charged several hours ago and i just closed my shop.

Seems like Shopify is aware that this is a common issue. However is taking advantage as there are no refunds for those that catch the charge too late. How unfortunate

I created a Shopify account with the ₹23 a month. U used it for a day and never went back on the app. I randomly got charged like ₹2352 rupees a month later even though I had deleted the app. I never knew I was being charged. This just happened I need a refund because literally all my money is gone to something I did not know I was paying for.

It sounds like you may have forgotten to deactivate your store after selecting a plan during the free trial and, as a result, the subscription fee was processed at the end of the trial. While using Shopify is completely risk-free, we'd be happy to check your account and see whether your invoice is eligible for a refund. However, as we're unable to provide account-specific support via the Shopify Community, you'll need to get in touch with us via the Shopify Help Center and we'd be happy to continue assisting you through live chats.

How can I refund my paid subscription.

Thanks for the quick response.
In order for us to take a further look into the billing of your store and account, you will need to reach out and contact our live support. With that being said, you can get in touch with a Support Advisor by navigating to our Help Center.
Once you arrive at the Help Center, you will need to make the virtual assistant be aware that you would like to Speak with support and you will be connected accordingly.

How can I refund my subscription.
