Cannot add products from General Shipping Profile to Existing Custom Shipping Profile

I've added new products to the online store and they are automatically have been added to the general shipping profile. I want to add them to a previously created custom shipping profile (Dresses). However, there is no way to do it. Several articles in the community say about using the Manage Rates button in General Shipping Rates, however, I don't see this button there.

Any suggestions?

It seems like you’re trying to move products from the "General Shipping Rates" profile to a custom shipping profile (like "Dresses") in Shopify. If you're not seeing a "Manage Rates" or similar button, here are some steps to try:

1.  Check for a 'Manage' Button on Each Profile:

   • Go to  Settings> Shipping and delivery in your Shopify admin.
   • Scroll down to the Shipping Profiles section.
   • Check both the "General Shipping Rates" and the custom "Dresses" profile for a "Manage" button, which should allow you to adjust rates and assign products to the appropriate profile.

2. Edit Product Individually:

   • Go to Products in your Shopify admin.
   • Select the products you want to move to the "Dresses" shipping profile.
   • Scroll to the Shipping section of each product’s details page.
   • Look for a field that allows you to choose the shipping profile and select "Dresses." Bulk Edit Products:
   • In Products, select multiple products at once.
   • Use Bulk Actions > Edit Products.
   • In the bulk editor, check for a column where you can assign a shipping profile (if available) or assign the products to the "Dresses" profile.

3.  Create a New Shipping Profile if needed:

   • If you’re unable to adjust the current profile, consider creating a new custom profile and assigning the products there as a workaround.

I too am looking to manage individual product shipping profiles. We are on the Standard Shopify plan and I do not see a Shipping section on the product details page or a shipping profile as an available column in the bulk editor. Is this a shopify advanced or plus feature?
