Cannot log into account, no access to mobile number or authentication code

i cannot log into my shopify store. I changed my mobile number so i have no access to the recovery mobile number and i also have no access to the authentication code. 

I have tried to contact support. The chat bot on your help page never puts you in contact with a human being. It keeps sending me around in circles. I do not want to speak with an AI assistant whom cannot solve the problem. 

I also tried to email support yet nobody has replied (it has been over 2 weeks!). I tried again multiple times and heard no response. 

I am losing hope to make contact with a real human being to gain access to my store. I now have outstanding orders i cannot fulfil because I’m unable to log in. I have now had to log into my other Shopify store just to post this as i have no access to log in and talk to support on my original store. Please do not send me the contact us link as it does not work and your chat bot also does not work.

I’m really sorry you’re stuck like this — it must be so stressful with orders waiting. Since you lost access to your old phone number and can’t get the authentication code, recovering your account is tough because Shopify’s 2FA is strict for security reasons.

If you have backup codes from when you set up 2FA, try using those. Otherwise, Shopify usually needs proof you own the store—like billing info, payment details, or business documents—to help bypass 2FA.

Since emails and chatbots haven’t worked, try calling Shopify’s support phone number directly (they have numbers for many countries). Also, reaching out on Shopify’s Twitter support (@ShopifySupport) or Facebook can sometimes get faster help. When you do get in touch, ask for your case to be escalated to the account recovery or security team.
