As of this week, I have not been able to tag any of my Shopify products on my Facebook posts. My Shopify store and products catalog are both correctly synced with my Facebook page, my shop tab is accessible and working fine on my Facebook page, yet it shows me there are no available products to tag when I try to. My store is located in Canada and should not be affected by their new August 10th policy: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/623552069600842

I reviewed each and every possible problem and it seems like there was indeed a bug with the synchronization of my product catalog with my Shopify store. I rectified that and I can now see that everything is correctly synchronized, yet I am still unable to tag products onto my posts. All roles of my Facebook page have access to the Shopify catalog and have the appropriate permissions in order to tag products on posts.
When I try to tag products on my posts, it still shows me that there are none available. When I click on Add Product, it forces me to switch from my Professional Facebook Page to my Personal Facebook Page. I cannot synchronize my Shopify store with my Personal Facebook Page as it is already synchronized with my Professional Facebook Page.
Having the exact same issue as you are describing, very annoying indeed! Also hoping that this issue is not part of a bigger problem and that it won't affect our Meta ads.

I am having the same issue for a client of mine.
I've double checked all permissions and even uninstalled the Facebook & Instagram channel and re-onboarded (as suggested by FB)
Still cannot tag products (they are not populating) but the shop has the products viewable.

I am having this same issue, and it started sometime in early 2024. I just finally gave up but now trying to see if there has been a solution.
I am having the exact same problem! It has been allowing me to do this for years. Now as of yesterday it will not populate any products in for tagging. In fact, it will sometimes even suggest a tag, but when I change it, it shows up as zero results. This is beyond frustrating. Please tell us that there is a solution.
