I’ve been experiencing a major issue with paying our latest Shopify bill due to Shopify requiring identity verification. No matter how many different cards we use, the payment doesn’t go through—it processes for a moment and then reverts to unpaid.
I reached out to support, but they keep saying there’s nothing they can do and that I need to contact our bank. However, our bank has confirmed this is a Shopify issue, especially since we have multiple stores using the same card without any payment problems.
I also asked Shopify support how to verify my identity, but they haven’t acknowledged that verification is required or considered that there may be a glitch in the process.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated because if this bill isn’t paid, our store will be frozen for a completely unreasonable reason. To confirm, we’ve tried multiple cards from different banks, and all result in the same issue.
